Hire equipment is supplied from depots located in Manchester, Barnsley and Ashford (Kent) with delivery options available to most areas of mainland UK. The hire range covers the following principal product groups:
The first line of defence at sites with contaminants, keeping site staff safe and preventing spread to the public domain. Envirogard operates a large hire fleet of decontamination units catering to the requirements of different industrial users and includes units designed for sites without power or water. Self-contained models can be delivered with their water tanks filled (on request) and ready for work at point of delivery.
Envirogard's trailers can be delivered to site by van or medium-sized cars and can be positioned without need for a crane. Sizes range from the Micro Single Shower Trailer (for 4 people) - small enough to fit into a car park space - through to the Maxi Quad XL (for 16 people). All units offer hot showers, built-in HEPA grade air filtration and demarcated zones in the trailers to progress workers from dirty to shower to clean areas- preventing the spread of contaminants from the work environment. Boot wash stations and waste-water filtration units are available as optional items for work environments that require these.
If space constraints limit the use of the trailed decontamination facilities then Modular Decontamination Shower Units are a useful alternative. Rapidly erected from lightweight panels, modular systems are for indoor use. An electrically powered water-management system provides hot water for the showers and collects, filters and pumps away the waste water.
These are highly mobile units for emergency decontamination of personnel and can be located just about anywhere. Hire units provide an overhead full-body drenching shower and are additionally equipped with an eyewash station. Safety drench showers serve as a preliminary decontamination facility at point-of-spill of a hazardous material and are available in cold-water, frost protected and heated water versions. Once charged with clean water these units are autonomous, and do not require connection to mains utility services.
Water mists are a straightforward solution for suppression of dusts generated in construction, demolition and recycling. Envirogard operates a fleet of fan jetmisters and fan assisted mist cannons for dust suppression of fugitive dust.
Multimister and Dustguard trailer-mounted engine-driven jetmisters with integral water tanks are mobile, flexible, autonomous jetmisters with multi-role capabilty including track-way spraying and jetwash lances with 30m of line.
If mains water and 110v power is available our 'roll-up, plug-in, switch on' Dustfighter mist cannons and perimeter line-misting systems offers simplicity in operation at highly competitive rates. We provide units for indoor and outdoor use, static units, portable units, mobile trailed bowser units and multi-role units with integral jetwash, aerial misting and road spraying capability.
For ventilation and extraction applications Envirogard stocks portable and transportable fans (blower units). Our centrifugal fans deliver high levels of suction and maintain airflow over long ducting lengths - flexible ducting is available to hire or buy - and where long runs of ducting are required fan units can be used in series along the ducting to maintain airflow performance. For applications involving engine exhaust capture and extraction we stock high temperature, heat-resistant ducting, suitable for use in conjunction with our standard ducting.
Where dust has settled high efficiency vacuum cleaners allow collection of dust with minimal disturbance and maximum effectiveness. CRQ and HML vacuums both incorporate a HEPA filter module so you can be confident the machine will collect even very fine dusts.
For hazardous dusts (such as asbestos, ceramic fibre, lead containing dusts) specialist H-Type vacuums are available. Constructed to meet the requirements of BS5415 the HZC390 vacuum features a waste-collection cartridge with integral HEPA filter designed to capture 99.995% of particulates down to 0.3 micron. To meet the requirements of this category of equipment each machine is individually tested and certified for this filtration standard.
Finally - not all cleaning challenges involve dry waste - often dust has become wet and turned to a mix of dust and slurry. To meet this need we also stock wet pick-up vacuums.
Where water mists can't be used Envirogard have dust filtration systems offering a wide range of filtration options. For control of fine or hazardous dust Envirogard stocks a range of specialist airscrubbing units including negative pressure dust filtration units (DFU's). Our DFU's are equipped with HEPA filters and are individually tested and certified for efficiency in removing very small particles - typically less than 1 micron - with better than 99.99% efficiency. Models are available with capacities of 400, 1800, 2300 and 5000 M3/hr and for large jobs we can supply multiple units.
For medium to coarse nuisance dusts we stock a range of capture hoods and in-line filter housings which can be equipped with pleated pocket filters for capture of the dust. These are popular because of their simplicity in use and cost-effectiveness - especially where dust loadings are high. Capture hoods can be used in a range of configurations - in-line or as a terminal or primary filter - and can be used either as the sole filtration step or in conjunction with HEPA filters to provide multi-step filtration.
For coarse nuisance dusts the simplest solution is an extract unit equipped with a fabric sock on the discharge. These socks work well for suppression of general airborne 'nuisance dust' such as concrete, cement, brick-dust, sawdust, powders, shot-blasting overspill etc. As the dust is discharged from the extract fan unit it is captured in the sock; heavier dust falls to the bottom of the sock while lighter dust is captured inside the fabric of the sock; as it builds up on the inside of the sock the filtration efficiency actually increases. Socks can usually be emptied and re-used a number of times.
All our dust filtration equipment will operate from a 110v supply, is 'Wheel-in, Plug-in, Switch-on' and can easily be scaled up or down in capacity to meet individual requirements.
